Fort Smith Organization Helps People Recently Released from Prison

We are excited to be #InTheNews for our Record Sealing event in Fort Smith. Along with our partner, Chance for Change, we were able to host our first “Arkansas Reentry Integrated Support Expo.”

The expo allowed us to help so many Arkansans with their record-sealing needs while also providing other opportunities from various vendors for Amnesty (misdemeanor warrants dropped and fines reset), Housing Assistance, Mental Health Services, Driver Control, Second Chance Job Fair, Adult Education Opportunities and Recovery Assistance.

"It opens doors and opportunities. It helps you find employment. It helps you find housing. It tells you what your next steps are. It gives you the know-how to do those things that you are being required to do," Felicia Lyons, the founder and CEO of Chance for Change, said. "Because if you don't do those things, guess what? You go right back through that revolving door.”
