Does credit discrimination exist? The answer is yes.

Attorney Cecille Doan will discuss how low-income populations face credit discrimination in regards to being able to obtain financing for their cars, homes, credit cards, etc.

BUT it's not just low-income populations but pretty much all members of the protected class-- sex, marital status, age, disability, sexual orientation, and so on.

When those populations can't obtain good financing, they have to resort to financing from predatory lenders, which charge outrageous fees and high interest. This starts a downward spiral that often forces people to file for a Chapter 7 bankruptcy.

Tune into KARV radio on June 23 at 7:45 am and learn about credit discrimination and what you can do to avoid getting caught in the downward spiral.
